Small beginnings. A generous spirit.
Balqish binti Jamaludin, affectionately known as Qish, began with a small family business in her home at Rumah Pangsa Kayu Ara, Damansara. Resilient, positive and driven by a desire to help others, she built the business together with her family, one step at a time. Her journey reflects a belief in the possibilities of women’s entrepreneurship. What started at home became the foundation for a fragrance brand with a growing community around it.
On 5 January 2018, she introduced Balqish Fabric Perfume under Qishrich Global Resources. The range grew gradually as more people discovered its fragrances. From these modest beginnings, Qish continued shaping a brand that could bring everyday freshness to customers while opening opportunities for others.

From its beginnings in Malaysia, Balqish has reached Brunei and Singapore. Its story has grown through customers, agents and district and state stockists who share the brand with their own communities.
2018
The first fragrance
Balqish Fabric Perfume began on 5 January 2018 under Qishrich Global Resources. It was a small start, supported by family and a determination to build something meaningful. The fragrance range grew gradually as the business found its place in customers’ everyday routines.
2021
A new chapter
On 10 November 2021, Legasi Balqish Sdn Bhd was established. This new chapter strengthened the brand’s foundation and its commitment to earning customer confidence. New products and ideas followed, while its original purpose—quality fragrances at accessible prices—remained at the heart of the business.
